Giants of Science

A concert of entertaining and enlightening songs about the lives and work of great scientists and mathematicians throughout history who have shaped our understanding of the world. The program includes a medley of songs written by Cambridge Public School students working with David Haines. All songs are performed by an intergenerational chorus, for audiences of all ages with an accompanying slideshow of children’s artwork and lyrics.

Staff Updates
The 4th graders have been working on a long-term creative writing project with their family members. Their fantasy / mystery stories are inspired by Chris Van Allsberg’s illustrations in his book The Mysteries of Harris Burdick. Read on for some unique stories. March Madness

March Madness Winners Announced!
Our top reader in the JK - 1 group was: Abigail Fisher Seufert (123 points)
Our top reader for the 2 - 5 group was: Ishraaq Ahmed (415 points)
Our winning classes were: Ms. Nerich's Class was the JK - 1 winner with 13,275 minutes read! Ms. Bielecki's Class won the 2 - 5 grouping with a whopping 57,660 minutes! Thank you to all our students for participating! Thank you to the staff for their help and cooperation with this exciting event. The competition may be over, but keep reading every day!

The Peabody School had its First Annual Art Show reception on Thursday, April 7th. It was a beautiful representation of our talented students. A big thank you to Ms. Yuliya Goncharov for her efforts in bringing this event together.
