Estimadas Familias,

Beyond the 4th Wall realizará audiciones para su próxima obra “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (“Eres bueno, Charlie Brown”) el jueves, 3 de diciembre en el salón 311 (tercer piso) en Amigos.

Las audiciones para estudiantes de tercer a quinto grado tomarán lugar de 3 - 4PM en dos tandas, una de 3 - 3:30PM y la segunda de 3:30 - 4PM. Los ensayos para estudiantes de 3er a 5to grado tomarán lugar los martes de 3:15 - 6PM en el Dance Complex empezando en marzo.

Las audiciones para estudiantes de 6to a 8vo grado tomarán lugar de 4 - 6PM en tandas de media hora. Habrá una hoja para apuntarse en la puerta del salón 311. Los ensayos para estudiantes de 6to a 8vo grado tomarán lugar los lunes y jueves de 3:15 - 6PM en el Dance Complex empezando la segunda semana de enero. Los estudiantes tendrán uno a dos ensayos a la semana, según lo necesario para su papel en la obra. 

Habrá una hoja para apuntarse para las audiciones en la puerta de la oficina. También se puede apuntar en línea mediante el sitio web de la organización. Si el 3 de diciembre no funciona para su hijo/a, habrán audiciones generales para todos estudiantes el 15 de diciembre en el Dance Complex (536 Mass Ave).

Otros datos a considerar:

• No es necesario tener ninguna experiencia teatral.  Tampoco tienen que prepararse para la audición.
• Lace Campbell, la Directora de Beyond the 4th Wall, anunciará los papeles asignados el 22 de diciembre vía correo electrónico y en su sitio web.
• No se ha decidido la fecha exacta para la obra todavía, pero tomará lugar a fines de mayo o principios de junio del 2016.

También estamos felices de presentar  nuestro nuevo conserje, Frank Vicente, a nuestra comunidad. Frank viene a Amigos de la escuela Morse y estamos emocionados de tenerlo como parte de nuestro equipo. Si ven a Frank por los pasillos, favor de darle una cálida bienvenida.

Finalmente, en esta época de gratitud, quiero compartir con ustedes lo agradecida que estoy de ser parte de la comunidad Amigos. Tenemos profesores especiales, familias especiales y estudiantes maravillosos. Disfruten el fin de semana largo.

Dear Families,

Beyond the 4th Wall will be holding auditions for their next play “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” Thursday, December 3rd in room 311 (third floor) at Amigos.

Auditions for Grade 3 - 5
The auditions for 3rd to 5th graders will take place between 3 - 4PM in two shifts, one from 3 - 3:30PM and the second from 3:30 - 4PM. Rehearsals for 3rd to 5th graders will be on Tuesdays from 3:15 - 6PM at the Dance Complex starting in March.

Auditions for Grade 6 - 8
The auditions for 6th to 8th graders will take place between 4  - 6PM in ½ hour shifts. Rehearsals for 6th to 8th graders will be on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:15 - 6PM at the Dance Complex starting the second week in January. Students will rehearse one or two days a week, depending on their part.

There will be a sign up sheet at the Office. You can also sign up online. If December 3rd does not work for your child, a general audition will be taking place at the Dance Complex (536 Mass Ave) on December 15th.

• Lace Campbell, Beyond the 4th Wall’s Director, will announce the assigned roles on December 22nd via email and on the website.
• Exact show dates have yet to be determined, but will probably take place in late May or early June.

We are also happy to introduce our new custodian, Frank Vicente, to our community. Frank comes to us from the Morse School and we are excited to have him join our Amigos Team. If you see Frank in the hallways, please give him a warm welcome.

Finally, in this season of giving thanks, I want to share with you how thankful I am to be a part of the Amigos Community. We have special teachers, special families and wonderful students. Enjoy the long weekend.
