Time to Renew Waitlist Positions between January 1 and March 1, 2018

Transfers are limited by Controlled Choice Policy, and the standard transfer window for this school year ended Friday, December 22, 2017.

Please be sure to renew your waitlist position(s) to be eligible for possible transfer offers beginning July 2018.

In order to remain on a waitlist for the next school year 2018-2019, you must renew between January 1 and March 1, 2018 by doing any of the following:
  1. You can fill out the Online Request Form located at our website, and select “Renew” from the drop down menu. Go to Online Request Form >>
  2. You can e-mail your full name, your child's full name, current school, and current & next year's grade, child's date of birth, and school waitlists to renew to [email protected].
  3. You can visit the Family Resource Center (FRC) Monday-Friday between 8:30AM-3:30PM and fill out a Request to Transfer Form, checking renewal for the appropriate schools. The FRC is located on the 1st floor of CRLS at 459 Broadway; there's a separate FRC entrance on Broadway.
Please note that transfers are not allowed between Grade 5 and Grade 6. Students currently in Grade 6 or 7 may enter the Upper School transfer lottery held during the month of May. Limited seats will be available for students entering Grades 7 or 8 in September 2018.

Thereafter, the waitlist manager, Kathy Sampson, will contact you personally by email after we have received your request and renewed your child’s waitlist position(s). Please allow for at least 2 school days for the email response from the waitlist manager. If you do not receive a response, please email us at [email protected] to confirm the request. Waitlists for school year 2018-2019 for grades JK/K will be updated by the end of March 2018, and waitlists for grades 1-5 will be updated by the end of April 2018.

Upon submitting the request, a confirmation email will be sent to your submitted email address. If you do not receive a confirmation email due to a typo, please contact us at [email protected] in order to confirm that we have received your online submission.
