Storm Update: Too Close to Call

Storm Update: Too Close to Call
Posted on 03/21/2018
We are closely monitoring the storm that will hit the Greater Boston area overnight.

Forecasts continue to predict a range of possible impacts in terms of snowfall and storm intensity. Therefore, it is too early to make a decision on whether or not to open school in the morning.

Current projections suggest that the snowfall will be lighter in Cambridge than elsewhere in the state, however we will monitor conditions on the ground before making a decision.

Based on feedback from recent snow events, we wanted to communicate our decision-making timeline in advance. If a decision is made to stay open, we will post an announcement on our website and social media before 5AM tomorrow (Thursday, March 22).

If there is a cancellation, it will be announced following our usual procedures.
