Parents of tweens and teens are invited to hear this talk by Dr. Gail Dines, Professor Emerita and founding president of Culture Reframed, an organization dedicated to working with parents/caregivers to ​build resilience and resistance in kids to hypersexualized online content​.

Parents will have a chance to talk about and learn:

  • How scary it can be to raise kids when sexual images, including pornography, are hard to avoid
  • The harmful effects of unrealistic and overly sexual images and content
  • How to build resilience to harmful media messages and support healthier ideas about sexuality and relationshipsHow pornography affects the brain and can lead to habituation and addiction
  • Why your kids sometimes act in ways that drive you crazy
  • Action steps and resources on how to support and guide your kids
