What else is CPS doing to respond to changes in federal immigration and enforcement policy?
|
As stated in the district wide communication issued on January 24, 2025, CPS policies and protocols directed at maintaining student safety have not changed. CPS does not voluntarily release students or student records to anyone other than parents and caregivers. CPS will continue to partner with local law enforcement to ensure both legal compliance and the preservation of safe and secure learning environments.
CPS will also be working closely with the City of Cambridge, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and other organizations to ensure access to relevant information and a variety of resources to support CPS families.
