Greetings CPS Community!

I hope you had a restful long weekend. It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week!

I am excited about the design of our instructional framework, one of the focused initiatives outlined in our district plan for this school year. An instructional framework is a blueprint to ensure educators continue to gain the knowledge and the tools necessary for all students to receive high quality instruction every day. The design of the framework will be collaborative and involve multiple stakeholders. We welcome your participation and ask that you complete the survey and consider attending one of the Education Summits this Thursday (details below). Your feedback will inform the Instructional Framework Design Team, which will be composed of students, educators, and school and district leaders. We are excited to engage you in the process and look forward to hearing your voice!

At tomorrow’s School Committee meeting, my team and I will present information about our Equity Budget Audit and I will share my goals as a part of the Superintendent's evaluation process.

Last Tuesday’s district-wide professional learning day was energizing! Teams across schools and departments immersed themselves in the learning from instruction to customer service. We are grateful to all of our staff for leaning into this critical work. Pictures below!

Thank you for your continued support.

Make it Great!

Dr. Victoria L. Greer
