Student Expectations

• Students should have access to meaningful and productive learning experiences equivalent to a typical school day every day.
• Students will have access to a combination of whole group instruction, small group instruction, social-emotional learning opportunities, and independent activities, in alignment with districtwide grade-band schedule guidelines.
• Students are expected to participate in remote learning experiences, just as they are expected to attend school in-person.
• Student attendance will be taken every day.
• Educators will provide feedback on student work and student work will be graded.
• Efforts are underway to clarify consistent feedback and grading approaches by grade-band.
• Students are expected to follow CPS Online Engagement Expectations, to be developed.
• Every student will be matched with a staff member and receive a one-on-one check-in each week, in alignment with districtwide grade-band guidelines.
