Some information information for you:

  • School Calendar: The first day of school for all students will be Thursday, September 9. See the calendar for the full 2021-22 school year.

    • The first full day for JK/K students is Monday, September 13th. Schools will be in touch with families about classroom orientation happening Thursday 9/9 and/or Friday 9/10.

  • COVID-19 Health and Safety: CPS has made the safety of its students and staff our highest priority. We have made significant investments to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including a comprehensive testing program. We are in constant communication with state and local health and education officials, who provide the latest information and guidance for keeping schools and communities safe. Check out the CPS website for information about our COVID-19 safety measures.

  • Communication with You: In the coming months, you will start receiving regular emails from the district and your school, and your school will reach out soon. There will be forms to fill out, and teachers will introduce themselves closer to the first day of school.

We are happy that your child and family will be joining our community next school year. Your child’s future teachers are really looking forward to meeting them. If you are active on social media, please follow CPS on Social Media and “Like” your school’s Facebook page to keep an eye on what’s happening as we finish a school year that has been like no other in our lifetimes.

Have a great summer!
