Registering Students for the Current School Year

   
We would like to offer you some information on the registration and school-assignment process within our Controlled Choice System. Because schools are already in session, there are limited seats available, scattered throughout the district. We encourage you to work with the Student Registration Center to understand what schools will most likely have available seats for your child. If you are registering more than one child, please understand that options for placing siblings in the same school may be extremely limited.

For kindergarten and Grades 1-8, registrations that are received shortly before or during the school year are processed and assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Between September and June, applications for immediate enrollment are processed on a daily basis, and students can usually begin attending school within 2-5 days of their registration being completed. Please contact the Student Registration Center to ask any questions. We are happy to assist you throughout the registration process.
