MAS Afterschool Program

The Afterschool Program is a Media Arts Studio opportunity to learn and delve deeper into your understanding and mastery of media technology. The program starts right after school at 3pm and ends at 5pm, from Mondays to Thursdays. The program specializes in teaching the basics of broadcast journalism through short stories, news reporting, and sports filming.
Opportunities

Club: Learn the basics of editing and filming. Use your skills to create short stories, films, documentaries or any video format to be broadcasted on cambridge television .
Sports Journalism: Film and televise live Falcons sports. Learn to film live and commentate on the air for various CRLS sports.
Work Study: This is a media journalism job where students get paid to create videos for the school's broadcasting station. Videos can be about culture, politics, self-reflection or world news. The purpose of this work opportunity is to give students a chance to experience the future of broadcast journalism in their school.
