Facility Maintenance

The Facilities Operations & Maintenance Department oversees the construction, maintenance, repair, expansion, and modernization of all Cambridge Public School (CPS) building facilities. The Department oversees the energy services, including fuel and electricity, as well as plumbing, roofing, brickwork, and carpentry. In addition, the Department oversees ground maintenance, including fencing, painting, windows, HVAC systems, elevator systems, equipment and facility rentals, storekeeping/mail services, and overall custodial services for CPS. The Facilities Operations & Maintenance Department interacts with local, state, and federal agencies on all issues pertaining to finance, planning, development, construction, and environmental impact.
