High School Career Connected Learning

venn diagram

The goal of Career Connected Learning in CPS is to support student development and understanding of interests and skills as they relate to future career planning.

Utilizing the DESE MyCAP (My Career and Academic Plan) process, we aim to create, share, and model a vision for student success that is relevant to students' lives and futures.

Falcon Block Pathways is dedicated weekly time in students’ schedules at CRLS intentionally designed to develop community, a sense of self, civic growth, employability skill development, financial literacy, and academic and career planning. Our curriculum develops cumulatively each year to support students’ growth and future success.

Additionally, CRLS and HSEP School Guidance Counselors meet with students individually, in small groups, and in partnership with classroom teachers to build academic, social/emotional, and future thinking skills.
