The Thomas M. Maynard Ecology Center is a Cambridge Public Schools science education resource located near the Fresh Pond Reservation in West Cambridge. The Center is an informal science-learning environment used to provide outdoor learning experiences that allow students to explore the Fresh Pond Reservation and Black’s Nook Pond. The Center also supports outdoor learning experiences across the greater Cambridge area. All field investigations enhance and support the Cambridge Science Curriculum and are aligned with the Massachusetts Science Technology/Engineering Framework.
