CitySprouts Gardens

We are proud to partner with CitySprouts, a Cambridge nonprofit that creates and sustains schoolyard gardens in all Cambridge elementary schools.
About CitySprouts
CitySprouts brings science and environmental education to life for elementary-age students through engaging, hands-on activities in schoolyard gardens. Working closely with CPS administrators, teachers, and families, CitySprouts designs and maintains schoolyard gardens and provides Garden Educators who deliver standards-aligned lessons in these dynamic outdoor classrooms.
Since 2000, CitySprouts has collaborated with Cambridge Public Schools to build a district-wide school garden program that engages more than 4,000 students in hands-on science learning and exploration.
