Welcome
to the Tobin Library
The John M. Tobin School Library Media Center is
a learning center that plays a critical role in the development of
Cambridge public school students to become lifelong independent and
socially responsible learners.
Students who score higher on tests "tend to
come from schools which have more library resource staff and more
books, periodicals and videos, and where the instructional role of
the teacher-librarian and involvement in cooperative program planning
and teaching is more prominent" (Lance, 1994).
