The Study of Ancient Egypt
Mrs. Walcott's Fourth Grade Class

The fourth graders studied Ancient Egypt this year. During their studies they learned about the different areas of Egyptian lives. We assimmilated the information and completed many projects that reflected our learning. Using plaster and paint the children replicated the walls from inside the tombs. Daily life was researched and the information was used to create a museum pop-up book. Along with these projects each child designed their own mummy coffin using a cardboard box and paint.
