Room 282 studied the local author and illustrator Grace Lin and learned that many of her stories were inspired from her own childhood.
After reading the book Dim Sum for Everyone! one child told us how she regularly goes out to eat for dim sum.
We invited her mom in to teach us about dim sum and she brought a variety for us to try. The kids thought it was delicious!!
