Fresh Pond's
Water Purification Facility

Mr. Dunphy was talking about water works, and he said its clean water you drink every day. I loved when we wished something.  Fresh Pond is a reservoir. I learned a lot.

Mc Kervens

I liked when Mr. Dunphy showed us the waterfall. The water was coming down. I like the waterfall because I made a wish.

Ritchmey    

I was with Pamela, Keso, and Maka. I put pennies in the water. I like Fresh Pond. I looked and listened to Mr. Dowling and Mr. Dunphy.

I like when Mr. Dunphy showed us how the water is coming down and falling in the fountain. I like when Mr. Dowling showed us the water facility.      Fresh Pond is a special place for Cambridge water. I looked at some pennies in the water. I saw a big map. Fresh Pond is a special place to visit.

Pamela

We went to the Cambridge Water Works. Mr. Dowling talked about water. I learned many things. Then we made a wish and threw a penny in the waterfall fountain.

I saw the map. I drank the water that comes from Fresh Pond, and it was good. I put the penny in the water, and it was interesting. I liked the pictures.

I remember when I see the water in the machine. I learned how Fresh Pond gets water.

I love the picture of us outside. I was happy because I learned a lot at the Water Works, and it was sunny. I love sunny days and I want to go again because it was fun. Mr. Dunphy had me drink water. It was delicious.

Thank you for allowing us to visit the water works, and for all of your help.  We enjoyed learning and seeing can drink it. We liked how you explained to us the water purification facility.   You showed us where the water collects in the watershed and how it travels to Fresh Pond.
