The Cambridge School Committee invites all community members to attend a Town Hall Forum on Monday, March 30, 2009 beginning at 6:00 p.m. featuring the finalists for the position of Superintendent of Schools. This Town Hall meeting precedes finalist candidate interviews by the School Committee on Tuesday, March 31.

This forum provides the opportunity to meet and pose questions to each of three finalist candidates and learn more about what candidate would bring to Cambridge as the next leader of the Cambridge Public Schools.

Candidates will be presented individually to take and respond to community questions. This Town Hall Forum will be moderated by search consultant Dr. Dave Gee of Ray & Associates, and will be televised live on Community Access Channel 99.

The Cambridge School Committee invites all community members to attend the finalist interviews on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, beginning at 6 p.m., featuring the finalists for the position of Superintendent of Schools.

This meeting allows School Committee members to pose questions to each of the three finalist candidates as they, with community input choose the next leader of the Cambridge Public Schools. This meeting be televised live on Community Access Channel 99. The School Committee values community input and all interested CPS members and partners are encouraged to attend this very important meeting! For more information, call 617 349-6620.

The Cambridge School Committee is conducting a national search for the next Superintendent of Schools.  The Committee has engaged Ray and Associates, Inc., a national search firm with a strong record of providing successful Superintendent search services, to support the search process and conduct national candidate recruitment.

The School Committee encourages parents, staff, and community members to share their thoughts on the qualities, skills, and characteristics to be sought in the next Superintendent of Schools.

Community Meetings on the Superintendent Search

Come learn about and have input into the search for the next Superintendent of Schools.
On Tuesday, December 2 and Wednesday, December 3, 2008, a series of community meetings will be conducted at several locations throughout Cambridge to provide an overview of the Cambridge Public Schools Superintendent Search process, and to gain community input on the qualities, skills, and characteristics to be sought in the next Superintendent of Schools. All parents, guardians, staff, community members, business and educational partners, and other stakeholders are invited to attend.
