CRLS Asked... The Seniors Spoke: The 2009 Senior Class Survey

In May, 2009, CRLS conducted a customer satisfaction survey to determine what our school’s strengths are, where we need to tweak, and what areas need more attention.

The results were overwhelmingly reassuring on a number of fronts. Members of the Class of 2009 told us – in this anonymous survey tabulated by Scantron computer technology – that 23% of students think CRLS is an excellent school, 32% of students say CRLS is very good, and 32% say it’s a good school. Just 11% of seniors rated CRLS average or below average.

Other highlights:

  • 90% of the senior class rates the quality of the teaching staff as good to excellent (45% of seniors surveyed say the teaching staff is “very good”).

  • 91% of students have a good or better relationship with classmates.

  • 85% of students feel guidance counselors do a good or better job helping them plan for life after high school.

  • 84% of the Class of 2009 considers CRLS to be a safe school.

  • 83% of the senior class would recommend CRLS to 8th graders.

  • 83% of students have a good or better relationship with CRLS faculty and staff.

  • 80% of CRLS seniors are satisfied with the overall CRLS product.

  • 80% of students feel the school motto (Opportunity. Diversity. Respect) is reflective of CRLS experience.

  • 70% of seniors feel the principal does a good job in leading the school in a manner reflective of the school motto.
