Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Two weeks ago we held this year’s first School Site Council meeting. It was pretty well attended by last year’s average but waned considerably from the 20 - 25 we would have at our meetings the first year. Last week’s PCO meeting had three adult attendees (besides Ms. Sohn and me) and an 8th grader who attended to provide translation for her mother who is from China and studying at Harvard. STEAM in the Port

Want to design and race a wind-powered vehicle? Or maybe create a colorful mobile that spins in the air? Perhaps music is your thing. Want to try your hand at DJ-ing and mix some beats? Just a friendly reminder to all 8th grade families to please complete the Student Information Survey. Hardcopies can be provided by 8th grade Advisors or you can take the survey online.

Do you love our All City Music ensembles?
We do too, and that’s why we are planning a bigger, and better program, starting this school year! We will be using the Fall semester to plan and revamp our current offerings. The new season will begin on Wednesday, January 14, 2016.

We will have more information on auditions, repertoire and rehearsals soon!
