5th Graders Visit the House of Blues!
All of our 5th graders boarded a bus the other day and visited the House of Blues in Boston. They have made this trip the last few years, thanks to the Friends of Haggerty, and were treated to an amazing concert. They managed to sit in the front row again this year and our 5th graders were fully engaged in the show! Thanks to Ms. Irvin-Kent for continuing to expose our students to the power of music!

Turkey Trot Fun!
The day before Thanksgiving is a day for us to hit the gymnasium and get our energy out! Our Physical Education teacher Mr. Materazzo (who came dressed as a turkey), keeps the kids busy with collaborative games and races. This year we even chased the teachers with an enormous beach ball! Our former Physical Education teacher Mr. McCann came back to watch the fun! Thanks to parent Diana MacArthur who was once again our Turkey Trot DJ! She kept us moving even when it was not our turn! Thanks to Mr. Materazzo for another fun Turkey Trot!
