New Staff / Staff Changes this Year
Nili Pearlmutter - Haggerty Math Coach
Hello Haggerty Community! My name is Nili Pearlmutter and I am the new Math Coach at Haggerty. In the past, I have worked in the Education Program at Brandeis University, as a Math Coach in Lowell, and, many years ago, as a teacher at the Cambridgeport School. Here at Haggerty, I work primarily with teachers to support and continuously improve our teaching of mathematics.
Laurie Gaines - Haggerty Art Teacher
I started working at Haggerty preschool in the late 80s after returning as a Traveling Scholar from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Soon after my children started at Haggerty, I returned working here thru MCC & CAC grants as an Artist in Residence. I served as co-chair of the Haggerty Arts Council, a CitySprouts garden coordinator, and Haggerty Community school instructor before working full time in the classroom. I'm looking forward to combining all my artistic experiences into the Arts here.

Music Corner
By Shelley Irvin-Kent
Welcome back to another school year!
Haggerty Chorus
Chorus is an optional, before school program that takes place on Tuesday and Friday mornings 7:30 - 8AM in the music room. Chorus is only for students in grades 3, 4, and 5. Chorus begins for the year on Tuesday, September 20 and continues for the rest of the year. We expect to have between 60 and 80 students rehearsing on the risers in the music room in the mornings – being respectful and ready to work is crucial! Students, please come ready to sing and learn new music. Talking while we sing is not an option. Read more >>
