Message from Principal Fernandez
ON THE MOVE
Yesterday the CSUS scholars and staff held a community meeting to prepare for the official move to 158 Spring Street on Friday, Feb. 12th. We are very excited about the move and I’m sure soon to be exhausted! We see the move as a great opportunity to refresh and recalibrate. Many activities are planned for the next few weeks. Our first major school wide activity is a school slogan contest sponsored by the Student Council as a means of celebration and community building. This week’s Tuesday Take Home packet/email includes detailed information about the move and related activities leading up to it. If you have any questions, please contact us via email or at 671.349.3050. Read more >>

Call for Parent Chaperones!
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
As you know, during MOVE WEEK (Feb. 8-12), scholars in each grade will be engaged in a host of activities including field trips, Black History Month, and other movies and activities. We are in need of chaperones for our field trips, especially on Mon. Feb. 8th. We have attached information about the trips and the CORI process. Please consider joining us on any field trip. If interested, please contact Ms. Robinson today so that we can begin the CORI process. Thank you for your consideration and your continued support!
Peace,
Manuel
Parent Input for College Readiness Night
CSUS is seeking the input of parents for an upcoming family engagement night on building and supporting our students' college ready identities. We welcome comments or suggestions for the event, and we hope a few parents would like to help plan the event as well. If interested, please direct input to our principal intern Jeanie Cho.
