Simplifying Slideshows in iMovie

| 1. Select the photos you want to use and save them to your desktop. |

| 2. Select all photos and drag them into the "tray" in iMovie. Each photo is transformed into a 5 second "clip." |

| 3. Select all of the photos in the tray, and move them down into the "clip viewer." Here, you can rearrange the "clips" to get them into the right order. |

| 4. Next, click on the "Audio" tab, and click the "Record" button to record your narration. your "iTunes library" will appear here as well. If you wish to have a musical backing soundtrack, drag a song down to the clip viewer. |

| 5. Add titles by clicking on the "Titles" button, typing your titles into the text box, and then dragging the block next to the title style into your "clip viewer." |

| 6. Finally, use the "Export" or "Share" function to save your movie as a Quicktime .mov file. You can then save that file to a disk, email it, post it on the web, etc.! | ![]() |
