N.E. Revolution at the Morse

On September 24th, the sixth grade students participated in a unique physical education class.  They played soccer with a member of the New England Revolution, Miguel Gonzalez.  Miguel, born in Mexico, spoke to the students about nutrition and healthy living.  He also entertained the crowd with a display of tricks with the soccer ball.  The sixth graders then dispersed throughout the gymnasium to participate in various exercises including a scrimmage, ball taps, trapping, and other soccer related activities.  Students were able to exhibit their soccer skills and gathered tips from Miguel as they were playing.  At the end of the class, Miguel allotted time to autograph a team photo for all of the students.  The sixth grade students at the Morse had an exciting learning experience during physical education class that they will not soon forget.
