King Open and Cambridge Street Upper School & Community Complex Update
Posted on 06/08/2015
The City of Cambridge is currently in the design phase for the reconstruction of King Open School on Cambridge Street. Earlier in the year, we held the two public meetings to seek feedback from the community during the feasibility phase. If you were unable to attend the two public meetings, the meeting notes and presentations are available through the project’s website.

Behind the King Open School building
King Open will be hosting their 3rd annual Spring Open event on June 18th. This year, King Open, in collaboration with the Cambridge Street Upper School, is opening this event to the neighborhood. Join us for some food, music, games, and the opportunity to speak with the architects associated with the reconstruction project. We’ll also be providing tours of the school during this event for anyone in the community that would like to walk the hallways one last time before the school doors are closed at the end of the month.
