For High School students:
Media Arts & Emerging Technology Curriculum
- Web Based Audio & Video Production - Provides an in-depth analysis of today’s media tools.
- Experimental Media Lab (Honors) - Develop proficiency in industry standard multi-media software and hardware.
- Media Journalism Lab - Learn the principles and skills of media journalism and news production.
Rindge School of Technical Arts / MAS Collaboration
- Digital Film & TV Production - Explore the world of media making by creating your own personal and group projects.
After School Production Program
- Youth View Cambridge - Student-produced news programming combine current events with local and school news.
- Falcon Sports Weekly - Students covering a variety of CRLS sports in the field and in-studio.
- After School Animation Lab - Create 2D animations and video art.
- After School Production Work Study - A paid work experience held in collaboration with the RSTA first work program.
- Media Lab Internships (Course Credit) - An intensive media making experience using state-of-the-art technology.
For Elementary and Middle School students:
- Media Art & Literacy Workshops designed to meet specific requests for 5th/6th graders
- After School Media Production Program for 7th/8th graders including digital storytelling
- Elementary View news segment production, and other special projects.
For Parents, Teachers and Staff:
- The MAS Annual Media Fair - Gather in our studio to view media produced from across the district.
