Contacting the School in an Emergency:

If a student is late or absent:
Call the Main Office. You may also notify the student’s homeroom teacher. 

If you need to contact a homeroom teacher:
Please note that teachers are very busy during the day and often cannot answer the phone. If the message is not urgent, call the teacher’s extension (the homeroom number) and leave a message on voicemail. If you need to talk to the teacher immediately, call the Main Office and ask to be connected to the teacher.

If you are late to pick up a student or need to change pick-up arrangements:
Call the Main Office. Please call before 2PM so that staff will have time to communicate the change to the appropriate person. DO NOT leave messages about pick-up changes on a teacher’s voice mail or email. After 3:20PM, call Mr. Roderick’s office at 617-349-6528.

If a student does not arrive home on the school bus:
1. Call John Roderick at 617-349-6528.
2. Call the CPS Safety and Security Office at 617-349-6772.
3. If you can’t reach Safety and Security, call the Eastern Bus Company at 617-628-6868
