Dr. Abrams received a doctorate degree in Cellular and Molecular Physiology from Tufts University in Boston. She worked in the biotech industry for several years both at Genetics Institute (now Wyeth) and Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Abrams recognizes the value of complementing coursework with practical experiences. She is committed to connecting students with professional scientists through guest lectures, field trips and facilitating student participation in research collaborations. She brings a high degree of enthusiasm and motivation to the classroom. Dr. Abrams joined the Biotechnology Program at RSTA in September 2004.
