The Biotechnology program is a three-year course of study designed to educate students in a broad range of basic technical and laboratory skills required to successfully work in the biotechnology field. Students study in a state-of-the-art biotechnology laboratory to understand the fundamental concepts in cell and molecular biology, genetic engineering, and protein chemistry, as they pertain to their practical application in the biotechnology industry.
The courses are aligned with the Massachusetts Department of Education Career/Vocational Technical Education Framework for Biotechnology. |
