The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School is one of the 10 original model schools to pilot a rigorous, engaging, expanded day program that extends the school day by two hours and focuses on project-based learning. Our eight-hour school day is from 7:55 a.m. until 3:55 p.m. with full transportation provided for all students junior kindergarten through eighth grade.
