SCHOOL HOURS
Our school day begins at 7:55 a.m. and ends at 1:55 p.m

All students must be in class by 7:55 AM.

If a student is going to be absent, a parent or guardian must call 617-349-6841, and dial 7 to report this.

It is very important for students to be on time. Class instruction starts at 7:55 AM.

Seventh Grade Parents: Students who are in need of immunizations will be excluded from school if they are not done. If you have any questions, contact Sheila Papp, the school nurse, at 617-349-6036.

ABSENCE AND TARDINESS
If your child will be absent, please call 349-6841 and either leave a message on the answering machine (before school hours) or speak with the school secretary. Please leave the following information:

  • Student name
  • Teacher
  • Grade
  • Room #
  • Day and date of absence

Students should bring a note explaining the reason for the absence upon returning to school. A child arriving after 8:25 a.m. is considered tardy and must report to the Principal's Office.

SNOW DAYS
If the School Department declares a snow day, it will announce that decision to the major news outlets. Check with local television and radio stations for an announcement. A message announcing a snow day will also be displayed on Cable channel 36. Each declared snow day will extend the end of school an additional day beyond the last scheduled day of school.
