Thank you for your interest in Graham & Parks, one of twelve great Cambridge Public Schools!

Graham and Parks offers group tours for prospective kindergarten parents on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, throughout the months of November, December and January. This gives families time to visit schools before the registration deadline of Tuesday, January 31st, 2012. (Note: All registrations are processed at the same point in time, shortly after the registration deadline of January 31, 2012. So choose a date that works for you, without worry of being at any disadvantage).

NOTE: If your child is in the older grades and you are interested in a tour, please call the Family Liaison directly at jamendola@cpsd.us or call 617-349-6577 x115.

Kindergarten tour times: Tours start promptly at 8:45 a.m. and last about an hour and fifteen minutes. While our tours are designed for adults, infants are welcome too! The length of the tour asks a lot of the younger set, therefore we recommend finding an alternative to bringing pre-schoolers along on the tour. However, if you run into a problem with arranging a child-free tour, and need to bring your pre-schooler, please call Judy at 617.349.6577 x115, and we'll work something out.

What to expect: Typically, a parent volunteer will be your tour guide. The tour includes a brief overview, a visit to each of our three Kindergarten classrooms, a sampling of older grade classrooms, (as available), a tour of the building including computer lab, library, cafeteria, etc., and typically, an opportunity to meet the Principal or Assistant Principal, (schedule dependent).

We all look forward to meeting you soon!

Best,

Judy Amendola, Family Liaison
