Fom Boston (using Storrow Drive)
· Take Storrow Drive outbound (west).
· After the exit for Harvard Square, look for sign towards Arlington, route 2, and Fresh Pond Pkwy.
· After the sign, at the fork, bear right and take (Eliot) bridge over the Charles.
· Stay in the right lane.
· After crossing the bridge, take the 2nd driveway on the right to enter the parking lot.

From Cambridge (using Memorial Drive)
· Take Memorial Drive outbound (west).
· After passing Harvard, look for sign for Watertown/Newton.
· ¼ mile past the sign, bear left at the fork (at light).
· After 50 yards, there is another fork (at light). Take the right fork towards Watertown.
· Immediately get into the left lane to make a U-turn. Quickly cross 3 lanes to get to the U-turn cut-off on the left.
· After the U-turn, you will hit another fork. Bear left (at light).
· After the light, stay to the right. The first driveway on the right is the entrance to the parking lot.

From Fresh Pond area (using Route 2 / Fresh Pond Parkway)
· Take Fresh Pond Parkway (route 2) inbound (east)
· Look for sign towards Boston/Newton/Watertown.
· After the sign, bear right at fork (at light).
· After 50 yards, there is another fork (at light). Take the right fork towards Watertown.
· Immediately get into the left lane to make a U-turn. Quickly cross 3 lanes to get to the U-turn cut-off on the left.
· After the U-turn, you will hit another fork. Bear left (at light).
· After the light, stay to the right. The first driveway on the right is the entrance to the parking lot.

FROM WEST:
Rt. 2 to the end. At Alewife MBTA station go over the bridge to the first rotary and follow around to the left. At the second rotary, go around to the left and then take quick right. You will be on Concord Ave. Go straight for one mile at which Concord Avenue becomes Garden Street. Continue on Garden Street to the third set of lights. Cambridge Common will be on your left and you will be at the edge of Harvard Square. With the flow of traffic bear left, go through one set of lights and then take a right under the tunnel. The Cambridge Fire Department Headquarters will be in front of you. There is a fork as soon as you come out of the tunnel - stay to the left which is marked Cambridge Street. CRLS is two blocks down on the right.

FROM MASS PIKE:
Get off at Allston/Cambridge Exit. Go straight over the bridge and cross over Memorial Drive. You will be on River Street. Continue on River Street. Continue on River Street until you reach the edge of Central Square. Go straight, cross over Massachusetts Ave. River Street now becomes Prospect Street. Go to the Fourth set of lights- a Car dealership is on the corner - and take a left on to Cambridge Street. CRLS is eight blocks down on your left.

FROM ROUTE 93:
Get off at Storrow Drive Exit. Follow signs to Cambridge/Somerville. DO NOT TAKE STORROW DRIVE. Bear left and right with the flow of traffic You will come to a set of lights and the Science Museum will be in front of you. Take a right at the lights past the Science Museum you will be on Cambridge street. Lechmere Station will be on your right. CRLS is about two miles down Cambridge Street on the left side of the street just past Cambridge City Hospital.

BY MBTA:
Take the red line to Harvard Square. Get off at Harvard Square. Walk down Massachusetts Ave towards Central Square to Quincy Street. Turn left on Quincy Street and walk to Broadway. Turn right on Broadway. CRLS is on your left a short distance from Quincy Street. If you are coming from Rte. 2 you can park at the Alewife MBTA station and take the MBTA. Parking around CRLS is limited so it may be easier to take the MBTA.

From North or South of Boston:

Take 93 into Boston. Take the Storrow Drive West Exit off 93. Take your first left exit off Storrow Drive(Government Center/Kendall Square). Enter the Charles Street rotary following signs for Storrow Drive West. You will see the on-ramp for Storrow Drive West. Do not go up the ramp, but instead look to the left for a large blue sign that says "MASS EYE AND EAR PARKING". Take a ticket and park. Instead of going towards the hospital, walk out of the parking lot the same way you came in, heading towards Charles Street. To the right you will see a footbridge which will take you over Storrow Drive and towards the Charles River. Cross this footbridge and when you arrive at the end go down the stairson your left and Community Boating will be right in front of you.

From the Mass Pike (Route 90):

Take the Boston/Cambridge exit (#18). Stay right up and over the ramp and follow through one set of lights. At the second set of lights before the river, take a right at the Double Tree Suites Hotel onto Storrow Drive East. While on Storrow Drive, stay in the left lane and follow signs for Downtown Boston. After passing the Hatch Shell on your left (the large half dome), take the next right exit off Storrow Drive (Government Center/Kendall Square). Enter the Charles Street rotary following signs for Storrow Drive West. You will see the on-ramp for Storrow Drive West. Do not go up the ramp, but instead look to the left for a large blue sign that says "MASS EYE AND EAR PARKING". Take a ticket and park. From Memorial Drive, Cambridge:

Follow signs for Downtown Boston/Government Center. At the stop sign turn and go over the Charles River via the Longfellow Bridge. Enter the Charles Street rotary following signs for Storrow Drive West. You will see the on-ramp for Storrow Drive West. Do not go up the ramp, but instead look to the left for a large blue sign that says "MASS EYE AND EAR PARKING". Take a ticket and park. Instead of going towards the hospital, walk out of the parking lot the same way you came in, heading towards Charles Street. To the right you will see a footbridge which will take you over Storrow Drive and towards the Charles River. Cross this footbridge and when you arrive at the end go down the stairs on your left and Community Boating will be right in front of you.

Parking:

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI) gives Community Boating members and guests parking discounts at their facility. Parking discounts are only available Monday-Friday after 5 p.m. and weekends and holidays after 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Parking validation is available at Community Boating for $5. You must provide your parking ticket and it must be time stamped within the appropriate time in order to redeem the discount.

FROM ROUTE 2:
Follow Route 2 East to the Alewife Exit. At the end of the exit ramp take a right. Follow Route 16 west past the Alewife train station tot he rotary. Go completely around the rotary so that you are heading back in the opposite direction. Turn right into the Fresh Pond Shopping Center. Take a left in the parking lot and follow the road so as though you are going behind the mall. Danehy Field will be straight ahead across from the Loews Theatre.

FROM ROUTE 93:
Take the exit for route 16 west. Exit #31 Mystic Valley Parkway. Follow Route 16 West all the way to the Alewife train station. Pass the station and go around the rotary until you are heading back in the opposite direction. Enter the Fresh Pond Shopping Mall and drive around the left side of the mall. Danehy Field will be located across from the Loews Theatre.

MBTA:
Bus routes  #74, 75, 78; Concord Ave. @ Alpine St. (0.3 mi)

From Route 2 (East):
Pass Alewife T Station on right. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto Alewife Brook Pkwy/Massachusetts 3A S. Main entrance is on the right.

MBTA:

Bus routes #72 leaves from Harvard Station and travel down Huron Ave with stops at Fresh Pond Parkway and Aberdeen Avenue.

Bus routes #74 and 78 travel down Concord Ave with stops at Birch Street, New St, Neville Center, and Smith Place.

By subway: Take the redline to Alewife Station.  Exit the station and follow turn south onto Alewife Brook Parkway/Route 2.  Walk past the shopping centers and cross Concord Ave at the Shell station to walk into the Reservation. (About ½ mile)

128 to Rte 2 Take a left at the end of Rte 2 , 1st set of lights take a right onto Mass. Ave. ,Follow Mass. Ave. all the way until you get to Harvard Square and see Harvard Yard in front of you. , Bear Left and go under the under pass ,You will now see a fire station in front of you, bear left keeping the fire station on your right. This is Cambridge Street. Stay on Cambridge Street for approximately 3 miles and take a left at sixth street. The rink will be in front of you.
