Upcoming events sponsored by Baldwin Parent Committees:

  • Family Fun Math Night! Have fun with math.  There will be tables set up with math games for children of all ages (and adults too).  
  • Science Expo - Bi-annual event for the entire school.  Children display their science projects.  Next Expo will be held in 2011
  • Annual Art Show (May) - The Baldwin School Arts Committee hosts its annual art show featuring art from students, teachers and parents.
  • Teacher Appreciation Luncheon (May)- In honor of National Teacher’s Appreciation Week, the parents and students of our learning community thank the teachers by hosting a luncheon.
  • End of Year Picnic (June) - This event marks the end of a successful year at the Baldwin School.  It is held at the Y field on Sacramento Street.

The Baldwin School Parent Committee's goals and responsibilities include:

  • Encourage parent involvement by publicizing volunteer opportunities at the school.
  • Work with teachers and staff to promote a positive environment for teaching and learning.
    • Organize "Fun-raisers" for the Baldwin community.
    • Administer the Baldwin PTO Email list.
    • Raise money to provide grants to classrooms and fund school-wide activities and programs.
